Marlborough Green Deeds

Green Deeds is a co-production project that meets every Friday to continue delivering projects that first began under Waythrough, after Waythrough’s contract to deliver practical vocational activity across Wiltshire county came to an end after 15 years, in April 2019.

A handful of enthusiastic volunteers – staff, clients, and volunteers from Waythrough – decided to keep some of those projects running.

Jump in, to get a flavour of activities and interests as we continue to work in partnership with Waythrough as a small independent co-production group dedicated to the power for recovery of green space, camaraderie and a sense of purpose.

The Plume of Feathers garden – a 1/4 acre of gardens in Marlborough town, open to the public year round, managed by Waythrough since 1996.

Hat Gate Nature Reserve – a 2.2 hectare nature reserve, owned by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, managed in partnership with Waythrough since 2005.

Starlings Roost – a cabin in woodland, providing space for conservation & greenwood crafts, and outdoor activities to young people, since 2004
