It’s always great to see the many creative activities happening in our services and this month we heard from REACH-Dorset about its ‘Recovery Through Art’ exhibition, showcasing work by people supported by REACH’s drug and alcohol services.

The Reach Art group allows people to connect and share their lived experiences of recovery and healing through supporting each other as well as through creative expression and learning new skills. More artwork from REACH can be found on our Main Stage as can a stunning mural at Together – Devon planned, designed and painted by people supported at Riverside Court,  animal collages from Sara at Braeside and some wonderful poetry by Big Ben!

Whatever your preferred way of creative expression, we always love to see the different creative sparks from throughout the Waythrough community.

We’re continuing to make a few changes to our site as we explore exciting new opportunities to showcase the creativity in our expanded community as Waythrough – a confident merger of Humankind, Richmond Fellowship and subsidiary organisation Aquarius.

Whether you are a member of staff or someone who uses our services, we love to receive your creative sparks so please keep them coming!

Re Create

You know what we did last summer? We thought it would be nice to explain a bit more about Re Create and why we do it, so we had a bit of a chat and a laugh, recorded it and sent it all to Elisha Mosley in Marketing and Communications, who did some magic and turned it into something cool and coherent!
